10Azriel’s Mentoring Skills Need Some Work
One of the most entertaining segment of theA Court of Thorns and Rosesbookswas when Azriel was teaching Feyre how to fly . Unlike Rhysand , who might have babied her , Azriel accept more of a problematic love life approaching to Feyre ’s training – include letting her fly direct into tree diagram a few time while take a shit dryly funny observation . It ’s one of the few instances where Azriel ’s unostentatious good sense of humour has been allowed to surface … even if Feyre likely wishes it were n’t at her expense . Then again , Cassian was even worse , so maybe she beat off lucky .
9Azriel Has Seen…So Much
Poor Azriel has put up with so much in theACOTARbooks , especially inA Court of Silver Flameswhen he was trapped in the House of Wind with a sexually frustrated Cassian and Nesta . He already has an Illyrian ’s sublime sense of hearing and smell , so he ca n’t even get by from it when he ’s in a different room . Plus , it ’s never actually been discussed in the books whether or not he can turn his phantom off at will . If not , his shadows are probably reporting back to that poor boy every time Nesta and Cassian have sexuality , whether he wants to know about it or not .
8Azriel Has A Thing For Decorations
By far one of the funniest scenes in theCourt of Thorns and Rosesseries so far is when Feyre and Cassian flummox dazed drunk to the stop they could n’t even properly attend the Solstice decorationsand Azriel ’s deeply character A personality fare out . You could much see the vena in his os frontale twitching as he tried to keep his patience with his intoxicated friend while they ruined the decoration andhungthemwrong . possibly in the next ACOTAR book , Azriel can make relaxed by opening an Etsy workshop for crafts . Would any of us be surprised if he were a great knitter ?
7Azriel Really Needs A Girlfriend
Not only does poor Azriel have to put up with hearing and smell Nesta and Cassian being all over each other , poor squash racquet son also has to know with the fact that the woman he ’s loved for one C of twelvemonth is not into him , and the other adult female he ’s appeal to is someone else ’s mate . It ’s enough to make you marvel , man , what did Azriel ever do to get on the Mother ’s bad side ? ‘Cause his love life story is perfectly cursed . Hopefully , the next book will at long last see our boy get some love story in his life , because God knows , he needs it .
6Az Is Just A Cinnamon Roll We Want To Squeeze
Everyone loves Azriel for a reasonableness , even though he ’s largely a closed book . What can I say , fandoms always love the dark , meditative boys with tragical backstories who are secretly cinnamon axial motion inside for their few loved one . It ’s a well - worn figure , but it ’s a dear one for a reason . uproariously , Rhysand and Cassian are just as protective of their brother from another mother , even though Azriel is arguably the most deadly of the three . 5This Is Not Going To End Well For Azriel. Or Lucien. Or Both.
The Azriel - Elain - Lucien love triangle is totally inept , for all involve , most of all Rhysand . Even with circumscribed time in the Court of Thorns and Roses books , Lucien has become a fan favorite for his quick wit & he ’s fix the memes to prove it .
4Azriel Will Throw Down For Mor
There are a few people in Azriel ’s life one does not mess with , but one does not mess with Morrigan the most . Az and Mor have … a complicated relationship , to say the least . He ’s in dearest with her and she knows it , she ’s not in love with him ( and late down he know it ) , and Cassian knows how both feel , but none of them ever dare bring it up . It ’s one of the weird plot of ground points in theACOTARbooks – you ’d imagine that after hundreds of years , they ’d have cleared the air already . Still , it ’s great to see how protective Azriel is of Morrgan , and that ’s something that will never interchange , even when her strictly platonic feel for him are unavoidably acknowledge .
3Azriel Is Forever The Responsible One…Much To His Dismay
As much as we jazz the three - way bromance between Cassian , Azriel , and Rhysand , have ’s be real : Cassian and Rhysand would drive anyone crazy after a while . two-fold that for a quiet , reserved character like Azriel , who often behave as the representative of reason and the bounteous blood brother . Despite Rhysand being the High Lord of the Night Court and Cassian being the legendary superior general of his force , they often act like kids when they ’re together , andit ’s Azriel perplex in the middle of their unruly antics . Azriel could probably disable both of them with some sort of assassin neck opening pinch , but he usually just opts to roll his eyes and preindication .
2Azriel: Most Awkward Third Wheel Ever
So many memes about Azriel business organisation him being adhere in the House of Wind with Cassian and Nesta , and with good reason . One , it ’s super inapt – either Nesta and Cassian are fighting , even though it ’s clear to see they arouse each other , or they ’re acting on that arousal , which is arguably worse . Two , it has to drive home for him the fact thathe ’s now the only one of his " comrade " who is without a mate , and not probable to get one any time before long . But three , it ’s also sort of hilarious to cogitate of the face on Azriel ’s face when he hear Cassian and Nesta fail at it yet again – however one choose to define " going at it . "
