John Francis Daley : I think what it really did was dish up as a interpersonal chemistry test for our actor and allowed them to fall into their roles in the film without rehearsing strictly by the book . Very often when you have this special rehearsal fourth dimension , especially during COVID , you desire to hear scenes on their feet as cursorily as possible so that you could make adjustment .

But there ’s definitely something to be say , in being able to approach it in a looser , more improvisational style .
