In film the fight itself , Bertrand does recall having flashback to his meter as a bully on the show , but does feel like Hawk is in a different chapter in his spirit where a fight like his and Demetri ’s would n’t involve him the same way :
Jacob Bertrand : I believe so . My memory of Hawk going to Cobra Kai in the earlier seasons is a hatful of Hawk being like , " No , f – k you , I ’m move , I ’m malevolent now ! " I think there was n’t really much of a conversation other than , like , the Yelp review thing , which I ’m pretty certain the only thing I aver was , " Take it down , or we take you down . " They feel dissimilar in the gumption that I find like Hawk was very , " This is what I ’m doing . I ’m so unwavering in this . " And I feel like now , Hawk has a humbleness to him where he can realize that he ’s wrong , where before , him being wrong was n’t even a possibility that ever hap to him . So , I believe that ’s believably the chief difference between these .
Cobra KaiSeason 6 Part 2 Will See A Complete Switch Between Hawk & Demetri

Does he jibe with it ? No . Does he see why ? 100 % . And I think Hawk ’s more worried about how that touch everyone else in his team more than her sake .

Part 1’s Frat Fight Was “So Much Fun” For Bertrand To Film (In Spite Of A Few Hurdles)
