It being a fourth - level spell means that players can only use it a few times each day . There are also a fewrare and dangerousD&Dmonsters , like Angels and Sphinxes , which have really good wisdom , so they ’re less likely to come down under the spell ’s effects .
Despite these downside , though , Confusion more than make up for them with the fact that it ’s an area - of - issue spell that can target any enemy inside of it . Whether it ’s a lusus naturae drove or a single chief , Confusion can handle almost any coming upon , which is why it ’s easily the most overwhelm spell inDungeons and Dragons .
