What can you tell us about your Ravenloft campaign ? What kind of horrors do you have in store for the players ?
The Black Dice Society is an officialDungeons & Dragonsstream set in the horror setting of Ravenloft . The Domains of Dread call out to six souls as they struggle to survive their journeying through the Mists . But behind it all , Darklords plot and intrigue their own escape … even if it think our heroes doom . Our characters - there are no tangible torpedo in the Domains of Dread - will travel through the Mists looking for answer beyond their inclusion … but their literal problems will set out when they in reality start to find them .
What can you order us about the Domains of Dread the campaign is set in . What sorting of Darklord rules over the realm ?
The Domains of Dread are prison house . Each one is made in the twisted image of what its rule Darklord wanted in life , a sexual perversion of them and their desires . Our characters will travel through the Mists to several Domains of Dread , some familiar and some raw and never seen before .
Will the campaign utilize any of the new content fromVan Richten ’s Guide To Ravenloft(monsters , items , subclass , etc ? )
Oh yes ! We ’ll be using new Gothic Lineages , subclasses , and more . Stay tuned forseveralpeeks into what lays in depot inside ofVan Richten ’s Guide to Ravenloft … .
What sort of tone are you hop to set for the cause ? Horror can be hard to do withD&D , as players have a tendency to make things unaccented - hearted . Are you aiming for a scary crusade or will you permit the thespian set the tone ?
This is not going to be a glad fib . The number one thing I have underline is that aside from a bite of gallows humor , this is not going to be a joking campaignat all . However , constant day-and-night terror is exhausting , so we ’ll have to roll the emotions a morsel to keep you , the interview , engaged and the players from being too terribly worn out ! Our destination is to portray them all as more complete individuals than you get in most TTRPG games . ‘ I am an Elven Paladin ’ is often all the character development you get . But we have work to make these three - dimensional individuals who had their own lifetime before , and grim destinies that lie down before .

What led to you creating a crusade set in Ravenloft ? What is it about the setting that you feel the most appealing ?
I myself have evenly across-the-board experience with storytelling inD&Dand in theWorld of Darkness , so given the chance to combine my two great loves into something hopefully corking than the sum of its parts was a hazard I could n’t possibly fade up . And getting to bring actors and performers of this caliber with me should give us an opportunity to do something unlike anything you ’ve ever realise before on a current .
