Absolutely appropriately titled , Shamelesswas a raucous saga about the Gallagher home and their dateless shenanigans , disastrous romance , mind - boggling antics , and general neglect for the legal philosophy and decency . Almost every character on the uproarious show committed crimes against each other and humanity , and nobody was ever painted to be a saint .
While everyone on the show did reprehensible things , there were a few people whom fans rooted for who were quite fiendish and went out of their style to do illicit things that others would think twice before doing . In fact , it was because of these moments that fans start to reconsider whether they would wrench into fully - fledged villains .
Fiona Gallagher
The firstborn Gallagher sister was their savior for a big part of the show , but she did quite a spot of nefarious poppycock - which often had grave consequences for her sib . A prime example of this was when her vernal crony , Liam , almost died after down drug she left on the board . She also pressure Modern momma , Debbie , to give her money - even though the teen had been struggling . Not to note how she bring advantage of Etta by deal her Laundromat to make more money .
These were n’t even the last of her offenses , but some of the most serious I . OnShameless , Fiona ’s character kept some big secretsthat were pernicious for her and the family . Her campaign to get ahead in the world diluted the care that she had provide the Gallaghers with , crap her less and less of a good guy .
Jimmy/Steve
Although he is arguablyFiona ’s best love sake onShameless , Jimmy / Steve was not a good guy . Initially , Jimmy / Steve seemed like a very supportive , loving boyfriend to Fiona , who claim to love not only her , but also her vast , nonadaptive class . However , his deed did n’t last for farseeing and Jimmy / Steve ’s genuine colors were revealed quite soon .
His name was n’t Steve , he slip gondola for a living , put Lip in peril by call for him in his illegal business ventures , chicane on Fiona , and snatch Frank . It ’s worth noting that he messed with the other Gallagher siblings ' emotions when they were very young , which was n’t okay at all .
Frank Gallagher
Mostly absent patriarch of this blemished family , Frank had a glorious run on the show , but nobody could deny that he was the core reason for the difficulties that his children had to ache . His deficiency of responsibility often pushed the Gallaghers into poverty and he used them for the house and their hospitality when it was convenient for him .
He also unleashed his dastardliness on Dottie when he ruin her heart and soul transplant so he could get her money , faked Carl ’s Crab , and also call Child Protective Services on his family after they plain him out of their home . Nothing was off - limits toFrank Gallagher and some of his ludicrous scheme onShamelesssaw him do several questionable things .
Debbie Gallagher
Out of all the Gallagher children , Debbie was the most controversial of them all . Debbie cross some serious boundaries at a very untested age . She sexually assaulted Matty , lied about using contraceptive method to Derek so she could get pregnant , and tried to drown a girlfriend . She even kidnapped a small fry and showed no remorse after .
She seemed to thrive on benefitting from hoi polloi weaker than herself and was convinced that it was her patrimony to slip from others . Her bad decisions were never owned up to but were blamed on everyone else , making her pretty contemptible .
Karen Jackson

Carl Gallagher
It seemed as though a lot of the disgraceful things that Carl did in the earlier seasons were a product of not make out any expert , but it hardly redeem him from the law-breaking he committed . Carl was a in earnest entertaining character , but he peddled drugs and sold firearms at school , which are certified criminal act .
The immature Gallagher ’s obsession with destruction and fury could n’t be ignored by viewing audience , but he did manage to save himself greatly when he joined the military school , and eventually recruit to become a cop .
Mandy Milkovich
Another romantic interest of Lip ’s , Mandy was covertly dangerous . She never hid her jolting way , but her tale arc focused greatly on her wanting to be with Lip and trap for unanswered love while being stuck in a friends - with - welfare situation .
While Mandy avail Lip greatly with his college didactics and gave him the push he require , she also pay back into a furore when she regain out that Lip still enjoy Karen . One ofthe bad things Mandy did onShamelesswas how she attempted to kill Karen . She premeditated Karen ’s murder by luring Karen out of her house , texting her from Lip ’s telephone set , and then ran her over . After she committed the deed , she then left her to snuff it in the middle of the road . Fortunately for Mandy , Karen survived but attempted murder is a jolly dire crime .
Monica Gallagher
Monica ’s influence on an already irresponsible Frank made her children ’s lives so much more hard . She flitted in and out of their lives , entrust a trail of destruction which they had to clean up for her .
Even after her dying , they had to deal with the meth that she had stolen and get shaken down by dangerous thugs . While Monica believed she was doing in good order by her kids , she break to realize the dangers she put them in .
