At first coup d’oeil , one might think that everyone in this rabble bunch would all fit somewhere under the Chaotic Alignment . But upon further review , figuring out theDungeons and Dragon’sMoral Alignment of the Gallagher family is a band more complicated .
Sure none of them fall under the true coalition , considering none of them take the law into account when making a determination but none of them are downright evil , so its not as easy as sorting a group like say , theDC Villains . The characters inShamelesshave layers like an ogre and those layer and the evolution of the characters over the seasons make it so each them land in dissimilar billet on the alignment scale .
Frank Gallagher- Chaotic Evil
Frank does not permit the law , the well-being of others , or human decency touch his decision in the slightest . He is the most selfish character on the show and for every becoming moment he has he seems to go and do something awful to overturn that adept deed . From callingCPS on his own familyas retaliation for being give up out to letting someone die so he could gather up her pension ( R.I.P. Dottie ) he is always spite those around him for his own welfare , falling utterly under helter-skelter Evil .
Liam Gallagher- Neutral Good
Liam is the glowing repurchase of the family and he has a impregnable moral codification but is slightly so-so when it comes to the practice of law due to the way he was raised . He seems to have mastered manipulation and schemes as he successfully fob Frank into attending Ian ’s wedding in the season 10 close . He never go bad quite to the extremes of his family and even stops Frank quite a few times from committing a offence , even ensure Frank gets caught on occasion .
Fiona Gallagher- True Neutral
Until her bouldered conclusion , Fiona was mostly selfless , always the one with the plan on how to keep together the Gallagher clan . She sacrificed her teen year , her instruction , and many relationships in ordering to be the sole provider and caretaker for her family in her drunken father ’s absence . Yes , she went on a down spiral to rock-and-roll bottom , but you may only be stretched too thin before you rupture .
She does what she has to and when she breaks the law its for her family , usually never for her own benefit . She does n’t really deal either way about the law but she does n’t go out of her way to unwrap it unless her family ’s well being is peril .
Lip Gallagher- True Neutral
rim is a good guy whose really smart but he makes a lot of stupid decision . He cheats on girl he cares about , he mess up up his college career for an affair with a Professor and he let alcohol take over his life for a unretentive time . He never care much for the law as it never benefit him and he was unremarkably on the incorrect side of it in his attempt to help the family . He even goes out of his mode to help Xan and Professor Youens , which in no fashion benefits his life , only take it laborious . But he loses a few pointedness for pulling out the ventilator of that guy rope in Season 9 to aid Xan fly the coop .
Carl Gallagher- Chaotic Neutral
Carl starts the show in the early season throwing off serious sociopath vibraphone as he loves to blow material up and is obsessed with guns and knives . He later transfers this passion to the military , eager to join the regular army . There , he sticks up for a trans soldier ( although , he thought trans meant transport ) , but he has shown some heart in his adulthood , landing him in the disorderly neutral alignment .
Debbie Gallagher- Chaotic Neutral
Debbie has done some shady suspicious stuff on the show , between steal babies , tricking Derrick into impregnating her and sleeping with an underage girlandher mother at the same time , she emphatically inhabit up to theShamelessname .
But besides her half - hearted attempt at motherhood and her loyalty for the most part to the Gallagher plan , Debbie is pretty selfish with no regard for the natural law or the impact her decisions have on others . She ’s not as forged as Frank , but she also pink a guy cable , stoles saunterer from mamma , and take in reward of a woman expire of cancer and her hubby .
Ian Gallagher- Chaotic Good
Ian becomes a champion for the dispossessed and LGBT youth in the southside in the last few seasons and even before this he always stood up for the underdogs . His love for Mickey do him to both play selfless and selfish ( like pissing in the gas armored combat vehicle of Mickey ’s fling ) when he gets anguish but it is obvious Ian care deep for those he is close with . But his bipolar upset cause him to bear chaotically like when he blew up the van to stop a boy from being snatch and force into gay rebirth . His vigilance man like actions secures him a spot under Chaotic Good .
Mickey Milkovich- Chaotic Neutral
Besides his huge temper and like to puzzle out problem with wildness , Mickey does n’t have too many speculative qualities and his character is afan preferent . His aggression is circumstances to living with a homophobe dad who leads a mob of angry Milkovich .
Mickey is violent because that ’s the only way he know to impart the feelings he has . He handles things with his fists and yes he may have tried to murder Sammi . But she was the worst and he was protecting Ian and his mob . He ’s not evil just misguide , so disorderly impersonal would be a perfect fit .
Veronica - Neutral Good
Veronica is the mama bear of the grouping , especially after Fiona leave . She is always tending to wounds and she ’s always eager to lend her neighbors the toaster , much to Kevin ’s chagrin . She does n’t really give care for the law though or confidence , as she does n’t seem to mind masquerade the Twin as one girl so they can get them into a good school , or selling steal goods or making a buck off of prescriptions . But she risk going to gaol to continue pen the prescriptions for the underprivileged and she always has a articulatio humeri to lean . She does n’t land as gamey as almost perfect Liam does in this alinement but she inches past achromatic due to her sound fondness and by being the most loyal fellow member of the group .
Kevin Ball- Neutral
If it were n’t for each other , Kevin and Veronica might settle into the Chaotic Neutral category as they balance each other out and pull each other back when one has gone too far in their strategy . Kevin loves sex and a quick buck and is often driven by his pursuit of both , even counterfeit harassment at one point for the promise of take in on a cause . Underneath it , all Kevin just wants to be well-chosen and cater a good life for his fellowship . He just wo n’t hesitate to give way the police force to do it .
