James Watkins is an old ally . I ’ve done a few films with James , and I love him to bits . He ’s a lovely person , and Tim Morris Jones is the stateless person . So , it felt really conversant . It just so happened , Tim was like , " You ’re not available , are ya ? " and I literally was . It was a great script , and it ’s James McAvoy who I ’d work four or five times before , and I love him . James is one of these actors , who , with James it ’s just so effortless , but this role is literally made for him . For me , when I read it , it was like , this is what we ’re give-up the ghost to do . And it was base on the Danish reading , but we ’re going to change it . We ’re pass to mix it up .
James want to make it feel absolutely realistic . Absolutely nothing is not something that could n’t happen in a physical world . We really want to feel the fear of the home being chased . I do n’t require to give too much aside , but yeah , it was just a joy . I mean , we burgeon forth that in Gloucestershire . We were a nice little self hold back unit in the middle of Gloucestershire . And it was just a beautiful shoot , wonderful production crowd , great cast and crew . James Watkins at his best .
